I have searched the forums on this topic, and the last item related to this was in 2008, and unanswered.
I am trying to get some code to read a spreadsheet object, and create/edit breakdown types on activites (work centers).
Editing the first breakdown type is easy:
Set MTBF Style Loop_Obj , Count only busy time
SET Loop_Obj.Efficiency Repair Time = ss_ActivityData[5,Loop1]
SET Loop_Obj.Efficiency Work Time = ss_ActivityData[4,Loop1]
Set Object Distribution Parameters Loop_Obj , Efficiency Work Time , Exponential , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0
Set Object Distribution Parameters Loop_Obj , Efficiency Repair Time , Exponential , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0
I can even create a new breakdown type:
Create Break Type Loop_Obj , ["Break Type "+ DSCount]
Apparently this sets a global text variable called "Breakdown_type" (Which I had to create) to the name above.
Anyone have any idea how to edit the newly created break type? I'd like to edit the Repair Time, Work Time, MTBF Style, and distributions for each.
Is it possible?
